The greats
Just been listening to a superb Trombonist by the name of Jack Jenney. His rendition of Stardust was one of the best ever, and he never played it the same way twice. Jack died at the early age of 35, but by that time he had ran his own Band (which unfortunately was a financial disaster) and played with some of the greats. He passed away due to complications connected with an appendicitis. His flexibility on the instrument was amazing, and he could hit top f's at the drop of a hat. If anyone knows of any reading material on this guy, then please let me know.
