Managed the lip busting 'Embraceable you' last night and managed to get the top 'D' in at the end. I usually know half way through if I am going to go for it or whimp out. I have been told that I go a lovely shade of red, and a vein sticks out on my forehead. Always nice to know. A sad note from last night is ,that the regular pianist is leaving the Band because of work commitments. He is a superb player and will be sadly missed.
