Had a good night last night and thoroughly enjoyed the blow. A selection of Jazz and Ballads to play and Satin Doll as well. A member of the audience gave me a copy of Minnie the Moocher by the original Cab Calloway. He had written on it that the OBB version was better!!! I am not sure about that, but we can only do our best. Also a nice e mail from a gentleman who had not seen the Band for a number of years. He inferred that he was going to travel to hear us from now on, which is great, and marvellous to have new people on board.
