As the OBB is not my Band, I never turn a job down without consulting the committee. However, saying that I have just had to turn one down, and I am sure they will understand. It was a charity event for 250 people (stay with me) the venue was in London (honest you will be glad I turned it down) and it was on a Wednesday night..... Can you imagine us all finishing work at 6pm and then tearing down the M1. Poor old Colin the Vocal would be on his Mountain Bike giving it rock all down the hard shoulder..... Still it was nice to be asked. As the guy said, he wanted to start with the top Band first.
