It is noticeable this year that there is a definite lack of Carol Singers. Talking about it at work today, it is probably not surprising, as one work colleague hides behind the settee with his family, and wont come out until they are gone. Another has a cauldron of boiling oil in the upstairs bedroom ready to pour out of the window to get rid of them. Myself, well I rush out and join them on my Trombone? never fails to get rid of em.
