Who Dares..... erm me!

Got to bed late night last night as played for a Glenn Miller night. The room was packed to the rafters. It still amazes me the pull that the 'Miller' arrangements still have. I often wonder that if Glenn had lived to a ripe old age, if his music would still been as popular today? A work colleague was also bleary eyed at work today, as his neighbours had kept him up half the night with loud music. It reminded me when I was taking part in Casualty Evacuation Ambulance duties. I was staying on an RAF Air Base and after a particularly stressful day, had got to my bed at about 1am. At 3am I was woken by 2 guys outside my room having a drunken row. Without thinking I shot out of the room in my shreddies and told them to please be quiet ( a bit more colourful than that actually) It was only at breakfast the next day and everyone was in there respective uniforms, that I glanced across at these 2 guys, and saw they were in fact SAS soldiers. I left my toast and the dining room fairly quickly!!!
