2 left feet

I may have mentioned, that although I am a Dance Band musician, I absolutely hate Dancing. I have taken dancing lessons, under much duress, as my partner wanted to do it. But was poked in the ribs many a time for messing around. I have danced at the Tower Ballroom, but after the first circuit, started larking around, and got kicked again (does this make me a battered (sic)partner?) One of the Dances I never learned to do was 'The Foxtrot' and I am always in awe of the people who can do it. Saying this though, it always looks to me that no 2 couples are actually doing the same dance?? Did you know that 'The Foxtrot' was only given it's name in year 1914. Before that it was called 'The Horse Trot' and even stranger 'The Fish Walk' My cod, can you believe that!
