Hi De Hi

A very interesting night at the Oak tonight. Dave the Prog, had pulled out some numbers we had not played for ages. This is always good to keep musicians focused and sharp. We played numbers from Georgia to String of Pearls and Send in the Clowns to Minnie the Moocher, which had the audience Hi De Hi De Hi..ing throughout the song. We also played a request for a Birthday girl in the audience, and then took her outside to give her the bumps....it took us most of the interval to complete this task lol.
Some great solo work from individual members tonight. Only the Band will understand what musical flexibility they performed in certain numbers tonight, which after all these years is a testimony to there concentration and professionalism, and as a front man, I thank them all from the bottom of my heart...
