My partner plays clarinet and she has a John Williams play along CD of themes from Superman and Star Wars etc. All written in Treble Clef. Big Band music is written in Bass Clef for bones, and the only other time I have played treble clef is in the Army or Brass Bands. I had an excellent teacher called Tommy Holt, who is sadly no longer with us. I can't even remember how he taught me the other Clef, but it has certainly stayed with me as I have just spent an happy hour, out of the cold miserable rainy day, playing with a full orchestra on my CD player. I am having a break from the 'mic' tonight as it is always good to concentrate 100% on the music, and not be thinking what you are going to say next. You see us blokes can multi task, but we do need a rest occasionally!! Someone asked me the other day what ambitions I have. Well, it is to be the last man on earth, just to see if all them girls I knew in the past were telling the truth in what they said.
