Mike comes back, or not!

Played last night, and only one main solo. One of my favourites 'The Nearness of You' had a new microphone and a new lead. What could possibly go wrong? Half way through, that thought went through my head again " This is going well" and then.........the mic cut out. So as Frazer said in Dad's Army We are doooooomed. Actually it is quite amusing, and many years ago I would have got stressed with it, but in fact the job I do puts life into perspective, and where is ,I can lose it sometimes, some things are really not worth worrying about. As they say, If it don't kill you, it can only make you stronger!!!
